Manufacturer warranty already covers defects. Extended plans pay off on items that fail from wear or have expensive sealed parts. Read what they exclude (batteries, “abuse,” commercial use).
One more path if the main fix does not land: check you are on the same record (package name, appointment, or application) and not a duplicate draft you created in a panic.
